Right now, we are working on a new project! You will get to see how a group of community members learns all about gardening in Miami Beach and transforms a plot in the process!

Garden School!

ANNOUNCING! The Miami Beach Victory Garden School Are you tired of paying to much for greens? Would you like to be a successful Miami Beach Gardner? Then come join us for an 8 week class...because your food is fighting! WHEN: Class starts Sunday March 22 and ends May 10, 2009. Attendance to first class is mandatory. ENROLLMENT: Open to existing plot holders as well as gardeners on the waiting list. Enrollment limited to 24 participants. To register please email the miamibeachvictorygarden@gmail.com with your name and telephone number. Enrollment closes Tuesday March 17, 2009. FORMAT Students participating in the class will work in an assigned community plot. Enrolled students will receive further details Wednesday March 18, 2009. If you can't participate in the class, the lessons will be open to the general public in the garden's upcoming blog. COST: $40.00. The fee includes all materials and tools that will be needed for the 8 week course. INSTRUCTOR: Danny Ackell. Danny worked for many years as a successful commercial grower in the flower business.
